The iTRACS iPBX software enhancement module helps manage, monitor and document the location and connectivity of your voice devices. iTRACS iPBX can maintain records of voice devices and integrate these with the iTRACS Physical Layer Manager location records by processing information provided by modern telephone PBX switches.

The iTRACS iPBX features include:

• Location record identification by extension number can include records of phone models, headsets and accessories, cords, ports and user preferences
• Automatic update of database if extension numbers are reprogrammed on the PBX
• Automatic creation of newly programmed extension port numbers inside iTRACS and links to relevant records
• Automatic removal of the telephony device from the iTRACS database if the port is deprogrammed in the PBX
• Automatic display of telephone jack/outlet locations on a CAD floor plan for seamless location of all voice devices
• Maximizing voice network utilization and maintains end to end network control to increase security and improve asset management
• Providing enhanced E911 safety capabilities for increased security and location authentication
