Software & Hardware Integration

The course presents techniques and procedures for IIM port mapping, and LAN fundamentals (including IP, Subnet and Gateway Addressing). Students will be instructed on the proper application and testing of the Intelligent Infrastructure Management (IIM) System.

The students will learn how to install the iTRACS software, build a basic iTRACS database, download firmware from a designated website, upload firmware to the Analyzers, configure the Analyzer Agent, create mapping templates and Map the ports/positions on Switches/Patch Panels to the iTRACS software. In addition, and as applicable, students will enable canned VB scripts (Analyzer and System Events).
