iTRACS Authorized Consultant Engineer
An iTRACS Authorized Consultant Engineer is authorized to conduct a comprehensive requirements survey and properly set customer expectations with regards to the iTRACS solution. The iACE has the ability to complete the requirements survey and can design a complete customer-specific iTRACS solution as well as a project plan that outlines the installation, implementation and customization of the iTRACS Solution. In addition, the iACE is authorized to install the complete iTRACS solution. The iACE can:
- Read and understand site surveys
- Determine analyzer placement and implementation
- Perform iTRACS analyzer installation and configuration
The iACE has a sound understanding of LAN fundamentals including IP Addressing, loading the appropriate application modules, and installation and configuration of Microsoft IIS (Integrated Internet Service). iACEs are also authorized to design, implement and maintain a complete cable plant infrastructure database using iTRACS Intelligent Infrastructure Management Software. The iACE is able to facilitate the Advanced Change Control Module (ACCM) for creating and monitoring work orders, import AutoCAD and Visio 2002 Graphics and create various circuit connectivity and utilization reports.
iTRACS Authorized Consultant Engineers are required to pass exams iTS201-01, iTS202-1, iTS205-1 and iTS212-1 with a score of 80% or higher.
